We make software solutions that are user-friendly to help you get your job done. We designed the CDS Planroom for small to mid-sized reprographic operations, keeping it simple and efficient, giving you meaningful features. Below are just some of the features that the CDS Planroom has.
Public & Private Jobs
Any user with an internet connection can view and order plans from the Public Planroom section. Private Planrooms, on the other hand, are password protected and can only be accessed by Guest-Users given permission by the Document Manager/Owner.
Secure Plan & Document Viewing
Customers can view plans (drawings, blueprints) online through their Java enabled web browser. All drawings are protected to prevent users from downloading and printing copies.
EZ Plan & Set Ordering
You control whether customers are allowed to purchase individual sheets, entire sections, or only the full sets. Customers can create custom sets and place the order online using a secure repro-featured shopping cart.
Real-time Plan holder Lists
Customers who place orders through the planroom are automatically added to the plan holder's list for that specific job. There's also a Plan Holder's list which shows every Plan Holder and their purchase. This list can be made available to the general contractors.
Public Job Bid Dates
The public job "Bid Dates" shows your customers when certain jobs are up for bidding and provides direct access to those jobs for instant viewing and ordering online.
Multiple File Submission
Using our multiple file upload system, your customers can effortlessly submit files to you for printing through an upload interface. A large number of files can be submitted at once, and it couldn't be any easier to use.
Administration Control Panel
The Control Panel is where you would manage the CDS Planroom, from setting up and activating jobs to receiving and processing orders. The Control Panel is user-friendly and can perform multiple tasks from one area. Keeping the real user in mind (You), we designed this section to resemble familiar programs that you use daily.
Upload File Types
Our system is made to handle popular file types such as: TIFF, BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TXT, DOC, and PDF files. It takes only seconds to upload your documents.
Plan Viewer
With our Java Plan Viewer you are in no way limited by file types. Our Plan Viewer handles popular file types such as: TIFF, BMP, GIF, JPEG and PNG files, and is simple to use. The viewer is packed with advanced features such as: full screen thumbnails, Scrolling (using cursor control keys, scrollbars, grab-hand), zooming (+/- keys, menu functions or drawing a rectangular area), anti-aliasing, annotations (redlining), rotation (90/180/270°), invert, mirroring, full-screen slide-show.
Plan Archive
No matter how many revisions to a project happen, you will always have an archive to view the previous versions instantly with the click of your mouse.
SSL Ordering
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a protocol developed for transmitting private documents and information via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encrypt data, a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL
An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of the browser window during SSL transactions.
Guest Accounts
Guest Accounts are created by the Document Manager/Owner and are used to allow specific users access to projects. Guest Accounts can be created and deleted at anytime by the Document Owner/Manager.
Project Search
Search for projects with ease, either by company name or by project name, number, etc. There are multiple ways to find the project you're looking for quickly.
Customize Your Planroom
We designed the CDS Planroom to be easily customized to fit your company's branding. Change the color scheme, upload your logo, or add your textual content. It's all so easy!
Document Manager/Owner Company Logo Upload
This new feature allows Document Managers/Owners to upload their company's logo for viewing with in the planroom.
This features also helps the end-user to quickly identify the account's owner.
